The large Manix2 is an extra-large variation of the Manix2 with a blade that is simply under four-Inch. The blade is locked open using Spyderco's trademarked Ball Bearing Lock. The lock is consisted of a free-floating steel ball-bearing encased in a state-of-the-art polymer cage. When opened, the ball bearing progresses onto the blade's ramp where it is wedged, locking the blade securely open. The round shape of the ball turns freely enabling the lock to self-adjust throughout a big surface area, making sure smooth and confident lock-up each time it is opened. The blade is CPM-S30V, ground full-flat and functions leaping above the extra-large 14mm Spiders Round Hole. The leaping texture continues from the blade's spinal column to the full-length skeletonized steel liners. The liners inside the G-10 deal with extend beyond the scales, developing a scalloped pattern around the deal with's perimeter for added grip. This function keeps the knife from slipping out in the hand and works well with gloves. The liners serve a double function by adding rigidly and light-weight strength to the deal with. A three-screw clip can be positioned ambidextrously, tip-up for comfort and pocket bring. The knife also has a big lanyard pipe to secure different kinds of cables or thongs.
