The Bushlore Survival Knife from Condor Tool and Knife traces its proud history back to 1787, the year Gerb Weyesburg Company was established in Solingen, Germany. The quality of the swords, military knives, agricultural tools and home flatware they manufactured made Solingen the flatware capital of the world. In 1964, the company formed Imasca with a brand-new plant in Santa Ana, El Salvador and filled it with state of the art German devices. Some of the original regional employees who were sent out to Solingen for substantial training forty years ago are still working in the factory today, turning out the finest quality machetes, shovels and other hand tools. In 2004, Imasca established a first quality line of tools and knives for the North American and European outside markets and Condor Tool and Knife was born.
